Lead Practitioner of Attainment
The role of the Lead Practitioner of Attainment (LPA) is to link the work of Education Scotland, Scottish Government and the local authority that supports the range of strategies and initiatives in place to improve educational attainment. They will work within the nursery, alongside staff, to coordinate, plan and support appropriate interventions. The LPA will play a key role in building the capacity of practitioners to provide challenging experiences and plan effectively to support continuous improvement in raising attainment.
Our Lead Practitioner of Attainment is Shannon McDonald. Shannon will be implementing Literacy strategies and workshops over the coming months.
